Jason E. Campbell is both a CPA and financial advisor. He has been in the financial services industry since graduating from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah in 2005. Jason began his career with PricewaterhouseCoopers as an auditor and later joined a local CPA firm in Roseville, CA providing audit, tax, and consulting services to privately held business, individuals, and qualified retirement plans.
As a CPA and financial advisor, he focuses on bringing all aspects of financial planning to his client’s life. Because of this comprehensive approach, Jason enjoys long-lasting relationships with his clients as he helps them plan for all of life’s financial challenges.
While Cornerstone Financial Group serves an age-diverse clientele, Jason’s background and training helps with his focus on those individuals who are in or near their retirement years. He spends much of his time educating his clients and showing them how to strategically distribute their income in retirement, both from IRAs and 401(k)s, as well as nonqualified accounts. He focuses on showing clients how to be most efficient with their income from a tax perspective, with an emphasis on protecting retirees from unnecessary tax burdens.
In addition, Jason works with professionals and companies to develop retirement plans and compensation strategies for owners and management. He has extensive experience working with employee benefit plans having audited and consulted on several variations of plans including defined contribution, ERISA-defined benefit, and Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), including feasibility studies. At Cornerstone Financial, we seek to deliver unbiased guidance and complete fee disclosure to help manage funding obligations, establish appropriate investment goals, design investment strategies, control costs and improve performance. We will work with you to develop, properly implement, and closely monitor an Investment Policy Statement to help define a clear and prudent investment process.
Jason resides in El Dorado Hills with his wife, Heather, and their four children. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching youth sports, staying active in his church, and outdoor activities such as running, hiking, fishing, camping and the occasional round of golf.
