Your Retirement Journey, Navigated with Purpose
Get a financial and retirement plan designed to keep your money aligned with your priorities.
The Direction – And Adjustments – Matter
If you set sail for Hawaii from California and are off course by just 1 degree, you are going to miss the islands by over 500 miles. Through job changes, social and political events, market “storms,” and life-changing events, you may get knocked off course without even noticing. At times, you’ll need to change direction, or you’ll be blown off course completely…
For those that don’t want to navigate their retirement journey alone, we come alongside to support you through a dynamic financial planning process we call The Questpoint FORMula©. Developed to help us focus on what matters to you and what is controllable, we have used this process for a number of years and refined it to serve our clients consistently and honor each person’s unique journey.
Your Why is Family, Occupation, and Recreation. Your How is Money.
That's what makes up the FORM in Questpoint FORMula©
Knowing what drives you and what matters most to you is a core value of ours, which is also why relationship-building matters so deeply to us. We take FORM into account when we work with you because motivation matters when you're making financial decisions.
Family
People first! Your family impacts every decision and having conversations and plans for good times and bad is always a core motivation we take into consideration.
Occupation
Nobody wants to be stuck at work. Building intentionally toward a work-optional lifestyle and/or ideal retirement date is something we discuss early and often.
Recreation
Memories with your family and friends give you life. Be it vacations, travels, golf, or cross-country motorcycle rides — we plan for your dreams.
Money
The way you look at your money makes a difference to your overall financial plan – we think of money as the “how” not the “why” as we help guide your journey.
Getting Started
When we start working with clients, we follow a simple process:
More Than Advisors
After you’re an established client, we stay in touch to create a long-term and collaborative relationship to ensure your financial plans continue to support your “why” and stays aligned no matter which way the winds of life are blowing. It’s why we host client events, write newsletters, try to stay in touch, and ask you to come in for annual Strategy & Tactical meetings.
After 40+ combined years guiding clients, we know that laughing and crying with families as they go through life is what we care most deeply about. We will always put a lot of heart into your financial plan because we value the long-term relationship that we have with our clients.

The 7 Pillars: The Structure Behind the Strategy
Because life is always changing, your plan isn’t meant to stay static. It evolves as you do. When we built the Questpoint FORMula©, we reviewed the 112 different ways we support clients over time and refined into seven foundational pillars that help keep your journey on course. The seven pillars represent the big-picture view of your life and your finances. Each of these have moving parts, but we look at them together, so nothing important gets missed.
- Thoughtful investment and income strategies designed to help support your long-term financial goals.
- Identifying potential financial risks and exploring strategies that may help protect your plan, your income, and your family.
- Integrating tax awareness into financial decisions to help improve long-term efficiency across your financial strategy.
- Helping you prepare for the efficient and intentional transfer of wealth to the people and causes that matter most.
- Coordinating income, expenses, and liquidity to help ensure your financial life functions smoothly.
- Helping you understand Medicare options and how healthcare costs may affect your retirement plan.
- Additional planning resources and client support designed to simplify financial decisions and enhance your experience.
